Under the Penal Code of Singapore, anybody who is found to have had carnal intercourse against the order of nature with any man, woman or animals, shall be punished with imprisonment for life, or with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 10 years, and shall also be liable to fine. The 2007 review of the Penal Code of Singapore did result in the repeal of section 377 (carnal intercourse against the order of nature) but not section 377A (gross indecency between men, in public or private).
If you, too, agree that this constitutes as discrimination against useful and significant members of our society - who should have the same rights to love and express affection as everybody else - please sign the open letter to Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong to appeal for the abolition of Section 377A of the Singapore Penal Code.

The deadline for this petition is 19th October, 2007.
